Where to Get Windows XP Pro OEM Software?

I have components on the way from Newegg for a new build. On my old, I mean very old system, I have Windows 2000 Pro running.

I wanted to bump up to XP Pro, since it is going to be supported much longer than Home, where can I get OEM (Cheap) Windows XP Pro?

Is SP2 the latest? Where are some places you have bought OEM software that is good?

BTW I will be posting my new system on the other Forum if you guys are interested, since some of you influenced my decision. Hopefully by this weekend I will have it going, but with my luck, probably not.

I could've sworn I looked the other day and they didn't have it. Maybe I'm thinking of another site. Well chit, I wish I would've checked into that last night before clicking buy.
 
I just checked NewEgg and they wanted $150+ for XP Pro.
I'm looking for something cheaper yet. Any ideas?
There are a ton of places if you do a search but I want to use a website that is trusted. Some of the OEM software places seem a little too cheap to be true.
 
What is the word on XP 64 bit? Have there been any issues with it? Would you guys suggest buying that with my AMD 64? There shouldn't be any compatibility issues with older games or software, right?
 
Thanks guys. I didn't think about looking at shopzilla or pricegrabber till last night. The prices were good and they contain trustworth stores, whereas some these OEM software places are a little "fishy".

I'm still trying to decide if I will go 64 bit or not. My apprehensions are having to go out and find drivers for everything. What about older games, will there be issues there? I might just stick with 32 bit and on the next system or two down the road jump to 64 bit.
 
You know I have thought of it before.
The reason I haven't considered it more is that I use Windows at work, I'm familiar with it, blah blah.
I also don't know much about Linux, it's security, virus resistance, etc. Of Windows sucks in this categories too. What about compatibility with games, drivers, and software and hardware.

Feel free to teach me a thing or too.

BTW the "Dumb and Dumber" quote is a classic. That quote is one of my favorites.
