well first, there are things you consider like what will you be using it for? For games, you need a monitor with a fast refresh rate (around 2ms is good, that way, ghosting (trails that your mouse or objects on screen leaves) will not be visible), high contrast (you should always look for a monitor with high contrast for whatever use, 2000:1 should be around the middle of the pack, 1000:1 should be the least, but as always, higher the better). If you are using it to watch movies primarily, a high contrast and refresh rates are also musts, but also consider a HD connection like HDCP, so you will be able to watch movies in full HD. when you ask yourselves these questions, you should be able to point out which monitor is for you. hope these help
well, i would say it comes down to what you plan on doing, if your watching a lot of movies, and thats really it, then get the Viewsonic, but thats ONLY if you watch a crap ton of movies and have a graphics card or device that has a HMDI output. However, i would recommend that you go with the Samsung. They make quality LCD's and that particular display has the best specs out of your line up there. Granted the DCLCD thing has some better specs, but i find them hard to believe. My suspicion is pretty much triggered by there contrast ratio, which is there dynamic contrast ratio. From what i've gathered its more of a gimmick than anything.
