Hi all, As you know there is millions of font types are available in the world which can use for MS Word or any other word processing packages. And also different types of printer are available according to there functionality, like laser printers, bubble jet printers, inkjet printers. Is there any effect for the quality of the printout or to the functionality of the printer according to the font type used. Because some of font types have smooth edges while some of have not. I assume that, laser printers are not effect on the printout quality. But how about there functionality, I mean effect on head of the printer or anything. And how about the other printer types as well.
Lasers are more precise on text, but not as good for images. Inkjets or dye-sub are better options. Dye-sub is typically what you see in those photo printers. The quality of the print job lies more with the printer than the text used. While a higher quality source is preferred, the output also lies on the quality settings and the unit and ink/toner/dye levels and quality as well.
