    Hello,

I have AMD K6-2 cpu on 400 MHz, and S3 Savage 4 graphic card. To improve playback of divx (mpeg 4) movies on my PC I want to buy a new graphic card.
I can't afford serious upgrade of system, so I'll by just a video card. It must be some non-expensive.

Do you think it's better ATI Radeon 7000 (-7500) with 64 MB, or some Gforce 2 MX with also 64 MB.

Will them improve divx olatback on my PC?

Which one do you recommend? Please, help!
    Thanks STAM

Whichever one is cheaper. Both will do DivX playback just fine. The Radeons from ATi generally have better image quality. If your playback is fine now, I'd probably wait until you get something faster. On the other hand you can go and upgrade, you might consider a little extra RAM instead.
A video card won't hurt, but that may not be the best upgrade you can get yourself right now.
If you can find a K6 550 (providing your motherboard supports it) for cheap and add more RAM (128MB of PC100/133 is pretty cheap less than $25).
