    Hey everyone,
ive got a small problem between a choice of two good motherboards.
    Choice 1: Asus A8N-SLI Premium
    Choice 2: DFI Lanparty SLI-DR

Just to tell a little bit about me, i like to overclock my graphic card, although i dont really know much about overclocking other than that. (i.e. im not much into overclocking)
However, im looking for the best motherboard available, preferably for gaming, and without having to tweak, overclock or change any settings.

Please someone help me! Which one is better?

    (my cpu specs are
    CPU: AMD X2 4400+
    GPU: XFX 7800GTX (490/1300)
RAM: 2GB OCZ dual channel LE (2 x 1024) Platinum edition
    Motherboard: Which one is better?!)

hmmm, i would of said that the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium is the best of those.
i dont think there is much difference form the PREMIUM & DELUX versions of the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium.

I think DFI have very good motherbaords especially for gaming, so either one should be good.

so if both are about the same, then for example, i would get the same 3dmark05 score on both boards providing everything else stays constant? or would one of the boards give a "boost" to performance?

Given that you're looking to drop it in and go, you're better off with the Asus. The DFI boards are kick-ass, but they're made for tweaking and overclocking more than the Asus. I love my NF4 Ultra D (the non-SLI'd version of what you're looking at), but if I didn't feel like tweaking, I'd have whatever Asus is offering.
