which should I do

I am thinking of upgrading my video card maybe i should hold off for a bit yet though, I am looking for opinions
I currently have a sapphire 9600 atlantis 256MB from ATI
I like ATI but i have always like nvidia slightly more just as companies thats all
I have had cards from both of them and they all worked great.

if I hold off for now I will be getting a heat sink+fan set up for the card I currently have because it over heats when playing age of empires 3

or I am willing to spend around $100 for a card

I would appreciate any suggestions

I guess the big question is what games do you play? A GeForce 7600GS can be had around your price range and would offer an improvement over your current card.

games i usualy play are Age of empires 3 and star trek armada 2 I do some times play star trek elite force and also I slightly more often then that play decent 2 or decent 3 with the free space expansion

I also have photoshop cs2 and some place I have an illistrator disc if only i can find it

i do tend to watch movies on it as well

basicaly aside from the over heating it has been a good card

I have already added small zalman heatsinks to the ram chips on the card


haa i should just stick it out side its 18 degrees F out, that should chill it out
