    New build, just looking for confermation. Might go ATI with XFire later but atm sticking with GeForce Nvidia (Cuz ima fanboi)

    Theres no need for that much info. What you want to know is whether the ASRock A780GXE MB will work with an Athlon 64 AM2 and some DDR2 1066.

    Yeah, it will work but your MB manufacturer says you can only acheive 1066mhz on your RAM if you use AM2+ cpu. You have an AM2 cpu (i think, the P4 is still new to me) so your capped to 800mhz RAM.

    Upgrade the CPU to AM2+ or downgrade your RAM to 800mhz.
