when i log in it tells me in a window that windows couldn't find nail.exe, now i think some sort of spam crap has placed it there and it tries to place a shortcut on desktop, a dialer of some sort,

i thought there might be just a simple way of removing the line from something like autoexec.bat maybe

    Ok.
go to start>run>msconfig>startup and uncheck anything at all that looks out of place.
If nothing ther check Services and see.

then downlaod [google]Spybot: Search and Destroy[/google] and [google]Adaware PE[/google] and do scans for spyware. Also help if an AV check was done with updated antivirus.
