Windows is freaking out on me

Yeah, like an all out assault on itself. That or i have a massive virus attack out of nowhere. Yeah i was just getting into bed, and then a virus detected message popped up and then i couldn't access my network folder, on any of the machines.... yeah, this isn't looking to good

Pull the drive, connect it up as a SLAVE to another machine and run a full av scan on the drive... be carefull, i doubt your AV will care that the files its repairing / removing from the slave drive are system files! (but hopefully it wont find anything)

right, have to try that. I have no idea whats going on exactly, this is craziness, and now i can't even backup my files by transferring them because it isn't recognizing any of the other machines on the network, none of the machines are communicating, which is probably something to do with the router. So i guess i'm going to have to mess with that to... thanks for the advance Impotence
