    Greetings all! :good:

I have a rather bizzare problem in that my windows Media player has recently gone a tad bonkers and is playing the image upside down and in reverse. I have been through just about every setting i can think of but nothing has solved it!

I have tried using Divx which does play them correctly, but unfortunatly it doesn't have the same codecs as Media player so it won't accept some movies.

    Any suggestions? Anyone?

    Cheers Adam.

strange problem, MS have some info on their site about it http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0022.aspx

I'd suggest you try out media player classic from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm

if you use "ffdshow" the you can set "flip video" in the settings, which should fix the problem or try this in widows media player

go to tools > options and click the advanced button from preference tab.

Then deselect Use video mixing renderer.
