Windows XP Pro x64

    It is safe to install a 64 bit version of windows now? (I have the hardware).
    I have tried and find that it's very fast with my system configuration but, I don't know work with office, games, photos, antivirus ..

    ok heres the deal, most applications will work fine with x64 except those with 16-bit installers(32 bit installers will work). the other thing is you need 64 bit drivers for many things like soundcards etc. and xp may or may not have them. you would have to see if their respective companies introduced drivers for them. thats all i can think of at the moment.
