I have a HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop. Last night before I shut down the computer for the night, I was using my built in wireless just fine. Then this morning when I turned it on, there is no sign of my internal wireless card ever existing. Everything wireless related is just gone. No wireless connection in Network Connections either. So I decided to check out device manager to see if it was even there and it isn't. I physically pulled out my wireless card from the computer and hooked it back up to see if it would recognize it. It shows that nothing is even there.

I'm pretty much lost at this point and I'm not really sure what to do from here, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you using Windows' wireless utility or HP's?

Sometimes if you have both working, windows will just give up and refuse to play ball. If this is the case, try and disable HP's utility and then restart windows to see if it helps. Alternatively try and work with HP's utility instead of Windows.
