Wireless optical Mouse & keyboard

    Hi
    i got Microsoft Wireless keyboard and optical mouse, i followed the instruction to set it up, everything works fine until i am in windows, But keyboard doesnt function when i am at the startup wher i have to select my OS.

    The screen where you select your operating system is in DOS

    If your keyboard is connected through USB, and USB legacy support is disabled in the basic input/output system (BIOS) / or the BIOS does not provide USB legacy support, you won't be able to use it in DOS.

    You could either try using a PS/2-style keyboard or mouse (6-pin connector purple and green) or enable BIOS USB legacy support. For information about how to do this, check your motherboard manual for possible BIOS settings.

    Obviously, if your keyboard has both the options for connecting through USB and PS2, just use the PS2 connectors.
