I'm considering the D-Link dwa-552 and dwa-556, their difference is that one is PCI, the other PCIe... I have both possibilities on my motherboard, so which one would be faster?

I think that there's no difference. You won't be able to use 100% of the available bandwidth anyway ... I'd choose by three factors: reviews, price and wether putting a card in the PCIe slot won't be too close to your VGA adapter (if you have one) ,ie, consider case airflow :p

It's a gimmick, anything other than a video card is pointless to have in PCIe. You will NEVER use all of the speed that the slot offers.

Yeah, the thing is, they only have the PCIe version, so I'll probably get that one... Anyone have any bad experience with D-Link? Also, the drivers are for the 32-bit version of Vista only, would there be a problem if I installed it on the 64-bit version?

You won't be able to install it on a 64 bit OS if there's only 32 bit drivers...
