Is there like a trial version that i dont have to buy. My friend keeps telling me to buy it, but ive never played any MMORPGs and because it is $50+monthly fee i wanted to see if i could try it first. I have the money but it might be better spent on say BF2 or F.E.A.R cause i loved those demos.

IIRC, everyone who is a regular member has the option of giving a buddy a free trial to get them hooked.

When you get WoW you have a guest pass you can give to someone that gives them 10 days free.

As for what it's like, it's easily the best MMORPG I've ever played, easily beating the likes of FFXI and Ultima Online. Personally I think it's well worth it.

well if i liked normal RPGs like Star Wars Kotor, do you think i would like MMORPGs
also is the game interface, and game play that difficult to get used to.
Also how much is the monthly fee, i heard $15 bucks, is there any way to get a discount.

There is very little difference between Single player RPGs (KOTOR) and MMORPGs except that in MMOs you don't play as the main character, there are loads of main characters and there is no way to actually 'finish' an MMORPG.

As for the pricing there are four ways you can do it.

Pay one month at a time - $14.99 a month
Pay three months in advance - $41.97 every three months ($13.99 a month)
Pay six months in advance - $77.94 every six months ($12.99 a month)
Buy a 90 day time card - $29.99 per time card (avaliable in game stores)

The three and six month payments must be paid in full at the beginning of the payment cycle, which is dependant on when you start your first payment.
