I just blew out my case in my main rig and LAN/test box. My main rig got a 6*C drop in temps. It was getting a little warm, but I forgot how it used to be. I knew I needed to do it, but man, not that bad.

Wow, that sounds like a pretty impressive amount of dust! Good thing you blew it out. Sounds like you might want to start keeping up on that ;)

Its incredible how fans collect so much dense dust. like a sludge. Its awkward trying to wipe it off aswell cause of the fan blade's shape.

you should have seen what I had to clean, had to blame our cat! dam cat hair!

half the time my case is open.it might get real dirty huh? by the way,Sniper you should have blamed your dog!!

I had to dust a Dell PII on Friday. I ended up with a crappy computer, and black paper towels

warning: do not clean any of your computer accessories, you will get dirty, then you will have to take a bath!!!......

Thats only because your a greesy skateboard rock boy :D haha ;)

Guys, you shouldn't really use towels or any clothes to clean out dust, but use Compressed Air (Dust Spray) you can pick it up very cheaply from local DIY / Electronic / Computer stores & it lasts quite awhile :D

(just make sure you don't spray at a 90 Degree angle otherwise it comes out as frozen liquid at about -30C.
