Hello, everyone. When I log-on to XP, I’m presented with a dialog box that asks me for my username & password. I have never set a password to log-on, so I simply hit the ‘Okay’ button & the PC goes into ‘Desktop’. Can I dispense with this dialog box at start-up & go straight into Desktop? My PC is in a secure area & I’m the only person that ever accesses it, so there is essentially no realistic need for such a log-on box. I have looked in ‘User Accounts’, but am unclear as to what I need to do to remove the box – is it simply the matter of removing the account? Cheers, Dave.
