    Hi

I'm planning to installing linux redhat 7 over the weekend for the first time, dual booting it with windows95 on my P166, 64mb ram and 4.3 gb hard disk.

Is it just as easy as putting in the cd and following the instructions on the screen or do i have to make special preparations?

It currently has win95 installed on it, but im thinking of deleting both partitions with fdisk and start again, then just pop the cd in

Just in case the hd messes-up and fdisk can't recognise anything (its happend once long time ago) does anyone know what other (low level) utility is delete and re-create partitions?

and where can i find a simple hand-holding guide on the net?

Also, unless you're dead set on using Red Hat, I suggest trying Mandrake. It's one of the easiest distributions to setup.
