I've had this problem a lot and not only on this site but since it occurs here I'll mention it. Often when I view text inside a box, such as anything inside the code tags in AT's Getting the Most from Mandriva thread whenever I scroll down all the text inside the boxes shifts downward to. It's irritating and obscures other paragraphs. I didn't really see any options sticking right out in my Browser (Camino by Mozilla), however it does not happen when I use Safari. I realize the obvious suggestion but I've got all my book marks in Camino and for some reason Newegg will not load in Safari?? Hope you can shed some light on this.
I don't know, as I never see that problem in Linux using Firefox 1.0.7, Opera 8.5, or Konqueror 3.4.2. I do, however, occassionally have a problem with drifting ad boxes with Opera. When you load a page while you are scrolled lower than the top of the page, the ad loads at the top of the visible content rather than the top of the actual page, sometimes obstructing text.
