Snapshot Software

    Hi :)

    ATM i am using Screen Hunter for re sizable snapshots its freeware and works OK`ish but i need to take some snapshots in GIF format, is there any software for this (Freeware would be nice) :) grateful for any advice, thank you.

    If this program you're using takes screenshots in a different format, you could open that file in Paint or other graphical software and save it in gif format.

    if your using XP[ot]i think you are[/ot]<Alt> & <Print Screen / SysRq> = copy active window contents to clipboard, <Ctrl> & <Print Screen> = copy entire desktop to clipboard[ot]like your system pics in gallery[/ot]

    Edit: your Firefox problem
    BTW: start by entering
    in the address bar

    Yes I'm on XP and thank you for the tip (hugs) [ot]I have FF 2 but prefer Maxthon as Maxthon click a link it opens n a new tab my FF dont, just reloads the tab thats open, "and its not as fast"[/ot]

    check FF options[ot]big hugs from donkey to Cyberbabe[/ot]

    SF is FF but for Linux[ot]although support has being withdrawn, i'll switch to Seamonkey soon[/ot]

    BTW: Maxthon is ok[ot]tried it briefly through Wine[/ot]but i didn't really give it much time

    Right i have just loaded (faststone screen capture 5) om a mag front disk its free) and this looks quite good and it can snap dropdowns in jpeg , gif, bmp, tif, and pdf and has a floating Capture Panel that can be dragged "see pic"

    I like Maxthon and one thing you can set each tab to refresh at a different time "see pic"
