Most registry fixers cost money for full functionality. But Firefox is completely free :)

Guys, simply suggesting other browsers is not really a solution... Something is wrong and needs fixing if his internet explorer keeps crashing. Personally, I would still want to get to the bottom of it even if I could avoid the problem by using another browser just because I'd be irritated that the problem exists.

This is not IE's fault. Whatever one has to say about IE's other flaws, it's not supposed to (and normally doesn't) crash all the time. Therefore this must be some problem within Windows itself. Somehow it's not working well. I think RHostenbach had a good idea about doing a registry scan. There are, in fact, free registry scanners/fixers available. One is CCleaner. Just google it. Another one is Registry Mechanic 5, which was brought up some time back in this thread. I'd recommend RM5 first, it's really easy to use.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure viruses could also cause windows to have symptoms like this abnormal crashing. Have u guys done thorough virus scans?

Seamonkey looks a bit stupid. Opera looks quite good. But Windows explorer depends on some components of internet explorer. If that doesn't get fixed, you'll have a good chance that Windows itself might show some trouble too.
EDIT: This problem with IE could also be caused by bad plugins. Go to Control Panel > Internet options. Select the tab Programs, and click on Manage Add-ons. Now look in that list for add-ons you don't need, or look strange to you. Select an entry of your choice, and select Disable. Now click on OK, and in the internet options-dialog on OK too. Now try to launch IE again,

Maybe u're missing some plugins, like flash player, that are needed for some websites? I recently reinstalled windows on my computer, and IE kept crashing on the AMD site (i was going there to get ATI drivers) because I didn't have flash player installed yet. And that website is like 50% flash graphics/animations.

In this case, you might get a message on the screen that you need to download the required flash player. But if there is a plugin installed that gives IE a command that it can't produce, then it might crash. This can happen with many types of software.
