Its that time of the year you make passionate but guttless promises (well I do anyway!) What are yours this year? Mine are to.... 1. Make a final push to pay my debts off! Only £3k to go. I want to start a uni course next september so need a clean slate! 2. To quit smoking again! I went from October 05 to Aug 06 without smoking a thing and now im back on my usual amount. Its gotta stop! 13 years is long enough! My heart misses beats and everything! 3. To see my little sister more. We've had a role reversal, its my 14 year old sister who phones me to see how I am. Shocking really! I think ill fail the smoking one. Im fine until I go to my mates. Pubs aren't a problem. I have to either not go out or drink lots of guinness when I want to cut down. Speaking of smoking im off for a sly one out the back door.
1. Become more healthier 2. To take up a course. A+ to help me learn more and get out of a call centre job
My biggest new years resolution is to do well at Uni, I've got a 90% average on my exams so far so I'll try my best to keep it up. I'll also try to play more games, it may sound weird but all of a sudden I've got into gaming (well, I've been playing my PSP a lot hehe) I work in a call centre!
Mine is to do well at college with my AS levels, and also to go to dance classes. I would like to start tango, argentine tango is great.
My New Years Resolutions are to: A: Loose Weight B: Stock eating Junk C: Pass first year of my Btec App n Design Nat Diploma course. D: Cut my hair too, i havent had it cut in like 4 months....
Wait untill the second year Thats when the work starts. I ran with the 2 year diploma, the third year with the OU would have been too hard! Hopefully I will get a year knocked off the MPhys course im looking at.
I need to finish my MCSE this year so I can get out of my crummy call centre job. I guess it's not so bad because I get to browse the internet all day. But I'd rather be a computer administrator and do very little each day AAarrrgghh! Satan! Be gone!
Loose some weight. Stop Smoking. The problem with the smoking is that, everytime I have a beer, I always have a smoke, everytime I have a coffee, I always have a smoke. It's such an enforced habbit. Hell, when I have a bad chest I smoke, it hurts when I do it. Such a silly habbit, its going to stop.
I'm considering doing the MEng in computer science at manchester uni after I leave college. I wanted to go into computational physics, focusing more on the computer science part but I guess that won't happen.
Its manchester uni ive got my eye on too. Close, big, friends nearby, family with spare houses, my cousin works there... Id be a fool to look anywhere else. I looked at computer engineering ones but the thing is ive never studied computing so its gonna be hard. Computer Engineering (4 Years) [MEng] (The University of Manchester) One good thing is that exams make up 60% of the course. I think the Physics ones are 75%. Im terrible at exams, like really bad! I got bang on 40% in my exams in october with an 87% average on the coursework. There is a Motorsport Engineering one at Brunel uni too. Again ive got the entry requirements to walk onto the course (plus being a "mature"!! student its easier to get on courses anyway) but I dont feel ready! How can studying the stars prepare me for motorsport engineering! Ive got two weeks to put my ucas application in... decisions decisions... Physics with Astrophysics (4 Years) [MPhys] (The University of Manchester) Computer Engineering (4 Years) [MEng] (The University of Manchester) Motorsport Engineering BEng / MEng My head says physics, my heart computers but I really want to do the engineering one. 15 jan will come round fast!
I have tonnes: 1. Become a loonix 2. Get fitter - haven't jogged in nearly a year 3. Watch more films - one a day would do. 4. Be a better husband and dad - just in case they visit this site.... 5. Transfer all the family videos to disk before the drives go crap..... etc, etc, etc......
The same resolution I make every year: Take another step closer to world domination. Seriously, I really don't make any resolutions.
My resolution for the year 2007 is to think about the resolution for the next year j/j In reality i dnt make any resolutions.. Coz plans changes every moment, every situation..so.
