US and UK phone plugs

    My sister is moving away and wants to take a laptop for the internet and stuff. The country she is moving to uses US RJ 11 and the British plug.

    Ive found US RJ11 to UK adapters and it looks just like one I have.

    As far as us Brits are concerned is the US RJ 11 just the little plug we have here and the big one is the UK one?

    so, if i understand correctly, you want an adaptor that works exacly the opposite to the one in your pic, is that correct ?

    No, I just want to know if the US RJ11 plug they use in Dubai is the same as the little plug we use on our modems.

    I clicked on solved because I think it is but if anyone can confirm this id feel a little better.... we're about to order a laptop and I want to make.

    Thanks Donkey. :) Thats why I asked here.... Google was talking Gibberish to me on this one!
    See if you can find how much power the Intel T2060 consumes.... that'll keep you quiet for a while. :)
