Whats a good photoshop?

    i heard Adobe Photoshop CS2 (or 3, cant remember) was good, but are there any other good ones i should know about?

    I would say you should try the free one first...GIMP2, its very kewl and me personally use it..

    ive been usin jasc paintshop pro 8, and was thinkin about goin to CS2 (or 3, whicever is the latest) But ill try gimp. Do you have a link for it?

    photoshop cs2 although its f... imean very expensive. Costs the same as a non gaming computer

    Photoshop CS2 (Creative Suite 2) is the current version, CS3 is due for release sometime this year (I think it's spring / summer 2007).

    Ive got Photoshop CS2 it is really good, but very expensive.

    CS3 is the absolute nuts, I can't speak highly enough of it - definitely get involved if you've got the finances to get behind it, otherwise it might be worth toying around with a lower version or even photoshop elements as a precursor

    in fact, on consideration, definitely CS3 - start saving!

    Try using GIMP, its a freeware software with similar function as Photoshop...

    Start with free software and after that go for CS2, CS3 so on.... advance versions of it.Photoshop is best for me....always

    While GIMP offers a similar feature set, I've found a difference in how you use it and Photoshop. Either one is fine, but Photoshop may offer more. My advice would be to download both (demos) and see what suits you best.
