    Well, to be honest the whole thing seems a bit shifty to me, since they are charging US$ 399 for "Linux LiveCD VoIP Server", which is almost certainly just a repackage of trixbox.

    And for that matter, their live CD router is probably just a repackage of pfSense or ClarkConnect. :p

    It's totally legal to resell GPL'ed software, change the code, etc. as long as you freely release the source changes along with the distributed code. I've been looking over their site for the last 15 minutes, and I cannot find the source code. These guys look like they might be OSS leeches violating the GPL. :eek: If that's the case, I wouldn't have anything to do with them.

    Maybe we should make good use of this thread and post a list of known-good open-source firewalls? I'll start:

    Just an FYI, but modsecurity is actually an apache module, not a firewall per se. It's really useful for hardening apache though! Same with GreenWall, it's a reverse proxy for MySQL to sterilize database queries before they get to the DB itself. Here's a few more firewalls I've worked with:
