New parts BIG problem...

2Gb Kingston
500W OCZ

Everything went fine during setup of new components. When i tried to turn it on everything works (psu, cpu cooler, gpu cooler, led are lit) but there is no beep sound or POST screen...

Any clues ?

Make sure all power connectors on the motherboard AND video card are plugged in.

Also, you may want to check the DFI Support Forums and see what suggested memory they have. The last time I'd seen, Kingston wasn't something they were recommending, and that could be a problem.

Additionally, what model is your power supply? 500W should be enough, but if it doesn't offer at least 30A on the +12V rail or combination of, it might not have the juice to run. Still, double check the power connections, as I suspect that.

Yes as Big B suggested, check the power cables. I once had the same problem when I'd forgotten to plug in the square, 4 pin power on the motherboard.

I assume you have a speaker plugged into your motherboard? If not, that could be why you don't hear a beep!

To check if it's the RAM causing the problem, remove it and see if it boots and brings up an error about missing RAM or similar.

I was that :D. Cable was trapped behind psu so i didn't see it. I got another question. My motherboard have 8 pin connector near cpu, but my PSU only have 4-pin connector... Is that enough or i should look for this kind of cable ?

I can't imagine that adapter would make any difference. As it is coming from the 4 pin plug anyway, the same amount of power will be provided, so the motherboard shouldn't act any differently.

I thought so, but is 4-pin enough for mb and E7200 ?
