Has anyone tried 32gb ram with the z68 chipset? I got my second 2x8gb kit yesterday... When I put it in, it made my i7 2700k run very very slow. Is this a problem with using 32gb memory or is this just a bad set of memory?

Maybe it wasn't compatible with the CPU?
    Was it DDR3-1333?
More RAM doesn't mean faster performance.

I got the exact same problem.
    Same CPU and Ga-Z68XP-UD3 motherboard with I have 4x8Gb DDR3 Patriot G2 1666Mhz Ram.
It's slow as hell when i put all my RAM but runs OK when i put only 16Gb.
What's the framebuffer size you increased to exactly?
