Hello! I have a problem with my laptop screen. I am not very knowledgeable about the inner workings of a monitor, but I am pretty certain that the large black and white stain on the upper right corner of my screen isn't supposed to be there. Its hard to tell by the image provided, but there are also horizontal and vertical lines that go across the screen.

Does this seem like something that can be fixed (and is worth paying to get fixed) or should I be shopping for a new laptop? I have an external monitor that works fine when hooked up to it but I am pretty mobile with my laptop and cant always be hooked up to it.

    Thanks for the advice!

That screen is 15 inches. Would $60 just get the screen and I have to replace it myself or would it be enough for parts and labor to get it replaced my a professional? Im guessing the former?
