IBM Thinkcentre

    I have an IBM Thinkcentre S51 with a slot for a pci-express card. Whenever I install the GeForce 7600GS the pc gives off several internal beeps and nothing on the monitor. I cant even get into bios with the card in..even if I switch to the onboard monitor plug. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    it sound like you may need to disable onboard grfx (in BIOS) to use a grfx card,

    Edit: connect monitor to onboard grfx, enter BIOS and disable onboard grfx, then turn off power and insert grfx card then power on
