windows xp home

    my daughter has just reinstalled windows xp home edition and it is in safe mode could anyone tell me how to get out of safe mode thanks :doh:

    i think she just needs to reboot and select something like "Start Normaly"

    BTW: why the reinstall of XP, & is it XP SP2

    Normally you would just need to reboot the computer.

    But I must ask why she was using Safe Mode in the first place? Is there a problem with the computer?

    she was not using safe mode before she reinstalled windows it just did that after she reinstalled she has tried numerous times rebooting but starts in safe mode every time i don`t know what windows it is just got windows xp on disk thanks for any help:(

    1. The main reason I can think of is your Graphics Driver.. Make sure you've them installed.
    2. Go to Device Manager (RightClick MyComputer > Manage > Device Manager) and see if there is anything in yellow traingle?
    3. Check and see if this helps....
    If you go to Start > Run, type msconfig...then follow the pictures
