DVD - Divx converter software.. anybody?

Hello again

I'm looking for a DVD - AVI converter, I have tried ImToo DVD Converter but it will only complete 2% of some movies and leave it at that. I've tried to google it (i downloaded all the dvd converter hits as fas as half way down in the google hit page) but they are just completely shit

so could someone please tell me whats good for a dvd-avi converter, i would prefere a trial version if its not free but i have an unlimited budget (if u kno wot i mean)

is this what you want, although its shareware not freeware, and i don't know what the restrictions are

thats one of them i tried. there just isnt any out there that i can find that just bloody works

The only one i've used and quite liked on the Windows platform is Magic DVD Ripper

seems another problem has devoloped - when i convert a dvd no matter what program i use the audio isnt in sync with the video

 

thats a common problem, however i think you alter the demux settings to compensate, but i could be wrong

 

Yeah, you need to Demux the video streams. I have to do that all the time with my DVB-T recordings.

Check out VirtualDub, VideoRedo and ProjectX

ive installed VirtualDub and its asking me for an AVI to input

so do i put the audio affected AVI video file i converted from DVD into this program
