Sunbeam Windmill Thermal Sensors

Hi,
I am looking at the sunbeam tech windmill (google it if u have not heard of it). It comes with several different temptature sensors and I was wondering if anybody knew how to install them. They look like stripped wires so do you just tape them on. If so, what is the best places to put them on a HDD, CPU, and Graphics card.
 
I don't remember the optimal place for the sensor on the hard drive, but with the CPU and GPU, you need to have it just to the side of the core/heat spreader. Whatever you do, DO NOT place it on top. You will crush the sensor and interfere with the contact between the core/heat spreader and the heatsink.

I heard it was under the PCB on most hard drives. Some have also suggested taping the sensor on the motor's spindle underneath the drive.
 
Thanks Guys, SO do u think this is a good buy rather than getting 2 4-fan fan controllers and I get all the other neat features. Does anybody have one?
 
I've never used a multi-function panel before, so I can't say how they fare. It depends on how particular you are on noise levels. I've considered them, but I haven't looked hard-enough/found one that works with the requirements I want.
That, and I just don't give a crap about having one.
 
Hi guys thanks for all your comments. I am pretty much not using the WIndmill any more. It Started to fail on me like when i started it up it gave wrong date and time (yes i put the battery in and set time) also it told me it was overheating when the temp sensors were not plugged in. When the sensors were plugged in they were very innacurate. Click the Attachment for a pic of my computer.

( it is loud, mostly windflow you hear but still annoying, all fans on low or medium.
Temps: Idle- CPU: 32C Mobo/Case Temp- 30C HD 1- 33C HD 2- 27C
Load- CPU- 44C Mobo/Case Temp 36C HD1- 36C HD 2- 30

This is with a total of 10 fans.

2 side (intake) 1 other side (intake, hd cooler) 1 front (hdd cooler) 1 under Graphics Card

2 in PSU (exhausting, very low CFM) 1 on top (exhausting) 1 on XP-120 on P4 Prescott (Antec Tri Cool set at medium)

All fans are 80MM except for on top of XP-120 and one in the PSU above XP-120. Also all fans have relatively low CFM's to keep down noise. ( all fans except for 120MM on XP-120, no higher than 27CFM)
