Ok I think I've discovered the problem. For some reason (probably a default setting) the cpu voltage resets when I restart my pc. So every time I restart my pc the voltage drops back down to 1.375V, but it's still running at 3.9Ghz. I do believe this is the culprit :p

I believe I might be able to help. If you can afford it I would suggest getting a 6850 instead of a 6750 because it would be much better for gaming and 3D applications and its only about $40 more on average. It does use more power (127 watts vs the 6750s 86 watts) but its just that much better...
