i have done it all, and no there is no power supply but i have used different cables and tried it on different pcs.
i tried doing that, but cant because the windows does not detect the hard drive at all, so it is not seen in disk management :confused:
i have a seagate freeagent go classic external hard drive (120GB), the problem that i am having is when i connect it to the pc, i see the light...
