I have recently built a nice gaming rig on a budget. Just running an i3 with 16GB ram and a SSD.
To keep the build in my budget, should I buy an unlocked I3 to play with or save the money and go with a i5? The i3 has been more than enough so far, so I can't really justify buying the unlocked i5...

So I am very familiar with computers. I can put one together, I know how they work, and back in the day I built a machine with pops that ran an old school AMD atahlon 1800 XP+ - it was def. ahead of its time.

They don't need to make them this big because they can get the amount of space they need fitted into the 2.5". I imagine this cuts down on production costs. You can always fit a 2.5" into a bracket and make it 3.5" for desktop computers, but you couldn't make a 3.5" fit into a laptop.
