Well would £150 be enough to buy a card that will play Oblivion well?

Where's the best place to buy it from online? I basically just want a card that will last me a good few months and play games like Oblivion on high(ish) settings if possible...

A friend is using a Belkin wireless G router and can connect fine on the main desktop pc but the laptop doesn't seem to want to work. It connects to the network fine but still can't browse the internet or do anything else. We've tried using the laptop on my network at home and also at college...

I'm planning on burning some videos to DVD to play on a home DVD player. What would be the best program for doing this? I don't mind if it's not free, I can cough up a bit. The videos are MPEG layer-3 if that's relevant. Cheers in advance x

Got it sorted. I restarted in safe mode so I could get access to the security tab and then just gave myself access to it all. Thanks for all the help Donkey and Karan x

They are detected, I have a C and a D drive. They're connected via different IDE cables at the moment. Is that wrong?

Neither CS or slave work. Still can't access Documents and Settings... Hmm.

The problem is I can't access the files I need to access. Documents and settings (where I'd get all the stuff I need from the old harddrive from my documents etc) says access denied when I try to access it. So just to make it clear, it's safe to have 2 harddrives in the computer yes?

Not too sure... The desktop was that of my new harddrive... I don't know how to make them slaves and masters etc... I suck.

Sorry, I really am useless at the hardware aspect of computing. I had to google to find out what mobo meant... I used a program called CPU-Z to get some information and it came back with:

This thread is jokes. I used to get pissed off when Morrowind always randomly crashed and I hadn't saved it for ages but I've never broken anything :chk:

Also, sometimes on start-up, the screen freezes at the welcome screen and I can't click to enter my profile or shut down the computer so I have to manually reboot it. This isn't a MAJOR problem but it is a slight pain the the backside that I could be doing without. Any ideas at all?

No, if I try to the mouse shows the little eggtimer thing to show that it loads it but I can't see it.
