did you try to do error check by windows before it starts up?

Windows 7, seems to have some funny problem with USB devises to.
Go in to the BIOS setup. But is you did not overclocked it will not be a problem.

I had similar problem, reason was that my memory voltage was badly setted. Did you over clocked you system?
Restoring option in Windows 7 is very good. It helped me more then once.

WOW is using a lot of processing power. Your GPU may be a problem, or your motherboard is not recognizing data properly.
