    I have a pIII 600mhz (Coppermine) 384mb RAM, 1.5GB hDD, voodoo5500. Set it up last night running win2kPro in Portugese and am Folding on it...

    (windows) 1gig=1024mb. (actual) 1gig=1000mb You lose stuff in conversion

    If you're getting above 30fps constant, I would not overclock at atll.

    Have you ran memtest x86? I think it could be your RAM, Processor. Your power supply is also a possibility

    it's just increasing speed because your CPU is getting hotter after stress. When your CPU cools down, the fan speed lowers.
