    While I wouldn't say it's a 'hard' case to use, it can be very fiddly to get everything in the place you want it. Screw this here and then screw that there procedure kind of thing.

    This could be related to the Microsoft USB Power Drain flaw in XP. If your running Service Pack 2, it shouldn't be the problem. Also try looking at the manufacturers FAQ's.
