Download. A lot. In a very short time. 'Nuff said. :good:
…or, you could run a dedicated FTP server on your box, and share with the rest of us. ![]()
I’ve already said about this over in the HL2 on Dial Up? Thread. ![]()
As they said we can only dream.
Totally insane…excuse me while I go drown my sorrows with some marshmellow Peeps and body slam my modem.
I’m not sure if Cogent has changed their prices at all but I know a while back you could get a 100mbps connection for the cost of a T1 line.
They have their GigE product which would be interesting to see what it’s priced at.
And for what someone could do with a gigabit connection. Download all the porn available on the internet of course, who else besides a multi-national corporation would need that bandwith now :P.
Do not underestimate the amount of pr0n on the internet. That kind of bandwidth would be good for someone trying to make people on slower internet connections feel bad.
I want it and I want it know.. gt to inform my uncle and grovel for a very long time…

I think I may consider offering my ‘services’ to many sweaty Honk Kong business men to get that kinf of BB speed! ![]()
