ATI has released their new drivers for the x86 arch. The new drivers adds support for the chipsets:

I hope this release is better than their previous offers. I remember trying to get a Radeon 9500 working properly in Linux… shudder …Sold that and got an NVidia card, which have vastly superior Linux drivers. If ATI seriously improves their Linux support, I’ll consider buying ATI again. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for ATI!
