Can I use an 8X AGP Graphics Card on my Biostar U8568 Pro mothere board?

On the manual it says it that the 66MHz AGP2.0 interface supports 1x 2x and 4x data transfers. Can I use an 8x AGP graphics with it?

So will i get the benifts of its 8X speed although my mother board is only 4x?

nope, I dont think so, you will have to buy a motherboard which supports 8x AGP to take full advantage, though I’ve read it doesnt make too much difference in performance.

And I’ve experienced it. AGP 8x doesn’t make any difference that you can feel over AGP 4x.
