Scrubs is funny at times…Law and Order is still IMO the best TV drama on the air…it’s one of the only shows ( or maybe the only show ever ) to have drastic and repetitive changes in cast and still be a successful show. Most shows don’t survive the cast changes L&O have gone through without being a quality show with an excellent writing staff. Even CSI, whose had a few changes, hasn’t maintained the level of interest L&O has.
So my picks would be:
L&O - best drama
Two and a Half Men - funniest sit-com
UFC The Ultimate Fighter ( TUF ) - best reality show
Judge Judy - best day-time soap ( yeh, not technically a soap but close…gotta love her demeanor )
I have started watching Burn Notice and its really good so far. I also like Battlestar Galactica series they did over the past few years. The Unit was another good show but its all done now, just like BSG
The Wire was probably the best show of the decade. It is highly addicting and very pleasing to watch because they make you feel smart for understanding what’s going on. Also you will “get” inner city problems, whihc given our location, we could all benefit from
[COLOR=rgb(255, 204, 0)]Rescue Me. I didn’t think I’d like it but I also didn’t think I would like the Shield either and I loved it. So I watched Rescue me and it’s really good. I got the DVD’s so I could watch them from the beginning and you just really get to know the characters and you like most of them. lol
House is my favorite. I’ve watched that since it started coming on.
[COLOR=rgb(0, 204, 255)]LOST … now there is one that I have to recommend but the name says it all. You’re seriously lost all the way through it. But it’s the last season in Feb so I feel like I have to watch it and it better all come together and make sense.
[COLOR=rgb(153, 51, 102)]Nip/Tuck was good in the beginning. It got a little weird but now it’s just okay. I watch it because it’s still being recorded on my DVR and well, since it’s there, I might as well watch it. And it’s always something strange on there enough to where I’m intrigued enough to finish it.
For fun kind of shows … One Tree Hill is good in a teenager kind of way. And there is a new show coming out called Life Unexpected … it’s on the CW. So you might want to watch that. I don’t know what it’s like since it’s not been on yet, but it might be one of those fun kind of shows like Gilmore Girls was when it was on the air.
