Also anyone have the ABIT KN8 Ultra, it seems to be a very nice board, with all 5 star ratings on newegg, is it better than the MSI Board I chose?

Quite honestly, the stock coolers on video cards are pretty good these days, and unless you’re into extreme overclocking, I’d leave the stock cooling be.

I’ve not seen any reviews of the KN8 Ultra, so I’m not sure of their capabilities. The AN8 series has been out for awhile, but I’ve just started seeing the KN8’s come out. Generally, Abit’s been pretty gung-ho about overclocking, but MSI has come up in the past few years with some decent overclocking boards as well. If there’s a small price gap between them, go for the Abit, but if there’s a major gap in price, you could stick with the MSI. Also the DFI Infinity NF4 Ultra might be another good one to look at for some good overclocking.

You might want to look at the Radeon X850XT’s too. I found at least one on Newegg for just under $250.

BTW, none of your links work.

I fixed the links lol..
I prefer to get the Vf700-Cu because on my 6800 GT, it dropped 15 degrees celcius off my load temps, and it looks kind of cool.

Thanks for the feed back on the mobo, I’ll go with the Abit, its only 10 bucks more.

I’m an nvidia guy and the 6800 gs is 50 bucks cheaper than the x800xt.
