HP OfficeJet Pro 8000 not printing PDF's

[SIZE=3][FONT=arial]We have a problem with printing PDF’s from a HP OfficeJet Pro 8000. It will print any other kind of document just not PDF’s. I have already followed the below instructions I found on the web it didn’t work.[/FONT][/SIZE]

[li]Open Adobe Reader.[/li][li]Click File and select Print.[/li][li]Click on Advanced to open the Advanced Print Setup window.[/li][li]Click Print As Image. [/li]NOTE: Selecting the Print As Image option usually increases the printing time.
[li]Click OK.[/li][li]Click Print.[/li][/ol]

I have no idea what is causing, is anyone able to help?

Do you have PDF software installed ? What Operating System do you have ? Take a look under printers/ fax’s to see if you have the pdf program there..

[SIZE=3]We use Adober Reader 9.3 with Windows XP.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]We can print PDF’s to other printers just not the [SIZE=3]HP OfficeJet Pro 8000. [/SIZE][/SIZE]

[SIZE=3][SIZE=3][SIZE=3]I’m not sure what you mean by ‘look under printers/ fax’s to see if you have the pdf program’ ?[/SIZE][/SIZE][/SIZE]

We changed the driver and ensured that ‘print as image’ was selected in the print settings within Adobe Reader.

The printer can now print PDFs!
