I’ve seen a PSU molex splitter that gives you two Molex connectors out of one. Is this safe to use?
As long as you’ve not overloaded your PSU its ok. I use them sometimes to extend a cable if its not long enough or so chain together CD drive and HD.
Edit: However its not good if you’ve used to many, so where you can use the connectors from your PSU.
Yeah it’s fine, I wouldn’t suggest using it with your video and harddrive together but for fans and optical drives, or say a fan and video card it’s fine. Just want to play it safe you know.
Yeah connecting two fans or other low-power devices on one is okay, but chaining too many devices or have two high-power devices together can be a problem.
I personally don’t like them but if you’re low on connectors (which I’m not, I have way to many) they’re a good idea.

I wanted to use it for two case fans, thats all. Thanks for the tip.
Yeah with that being the case load it up, the 2MX isn’t going to drain you.
