As I noticed my case temps match my load temps I noticed I need to up my cooling a bit, everything is stock, I only have 1 80mm front intake now, and 1 120mm outtake as well as my PSU exhaust.
idle: 34-42
load: 37-45
These are excellent temps for a stock setup, but it kind of worries me, as well as holds me back in the future from overclocking anything. My CPU cooler stopped working and I got a refund, and now I’m running on a stock HSF for my cpu
This is what I plan to do, not only to make my case cool, but ironically… HOT haha
Anything else I can do? I don’t mind the noise as long as its not like a vaccum or sounds like I have 2 tornadoes on a big a*s HS … (pauses, then laughs)
I picked the fans that are “okay noise qualified” for me but have high CFM rates, anything else I can replace, or any tips would be appreciated.
Ok the only thing I would do is take the filters off the 80 mm fans. This will make it louder while decreasing airflow. Personally I would invest in compressed air.

I resent that.
I’m not a big fan of zalman’s CPU heatsinks. I just haven’t seen much performance come out of them. Sure they’re quiet, but when your CPU is melting down your motherboard that won’t help you much http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835106036

O_O
thanks ninja, I’ll add that on, i hope the guy commenting on his 3700sD being 35 degrees while gaming wasen’t lying, yeah I’m gonna overclock in a year, I want the warranty to expire before I overclock, and I’m hoping to get it up from 2.2 to 2.6 at least
