In the past 3 days I’ve gone from my old Mandriva installation, to Ubuntu, to an attempted FC5 install, to a Suse 10 and now back to Mandriva install. I noticed that Ubuntu and Suse both seem to show a little icon on the panel showing my battery/ac power status like in windows. But in Mandriva there is no such icon.
I didn’t have it on my old Mandriva installation either. Any ideas? I think ACPI may not be working with Mandriva.
Actually i’m going to try using the klaptop package first.
