im looking at getting 6800 but they are around £240, there is one however:
a 6800LE it’s only got 8 pipelines instead of 12, its £140, where as a 9800Pro is £100-£130, or should i just get a proper 6800 : /
The 9800Pro isn’t bad, but in the long run, I think that you’ll find it much more worthwhile to spend the extra cash for a GF 6800.
i’ve just ordered an Asus 6800GT 128mb 
i presume the GT is better than the standard?
Yes. 6800 < 6800GT < 6800 Ultra
I think its good about the SLI capability in GF6800s aswell, but you do need a dual pci-e mobo. Still you get around double the performance unlike dual cpus which don’t increase performance that much.
