How many types of printer cables are and which is the best type?

I know of only two, the Parallel cable and the USB cable…I would have to say the USB is better…

There are three types of printer cables 1) USB printer cable 2) Parallel printer cable 3)Serial printer cable .

i’ll go with the USB cable for the uses.. it also depends

check printer ports need for connection and also computer ports.
if computer has only USB ports then USB cable is good to use..

Considering the lack of serial or parallel ports available on most PC’s these days, USB is going to be the only choice aside from some WiFi models. USB offers faster transfer speeds than parallel or serial.

generaly there are two types of printer cables

  1. parallel
  2. usb
    usb is good and fast compare to parallel cables

For a long time parallel cables were used in lan-printers. USB is better, faster etc.
